Helena Panassol
My name is Helena and I'm illustrator and comic artist currently based on the Netherlands. I graduated from Emile Cohl, a french visual arts school with focus on drawing and animation.
I work on comics and illustrations, mostly using digital techniques.
To create, write and finally translate stories to images is a fascinating process that I am quite passionate about.
I'm currently working on a urban fantasy webcomic, which is to some extent an adaptation and modernization of the Russian tale of Ivan, the Firebird and the Grey Wolf.
The Red King: Being young, rich and handsome doesn’t always bring you happiness. Just ask Ivan, the black sheep of his family. If he wasn’t busy drinking, partying and being a royal screw up, he could be building a career in his father’s vast business. As if Ivan’s volatile family dynamics couldn't get any worse, he accidentally helps a supernatural entity steal a secret that could sink his father’s entire corporate empire.
Other than drawing, I also enjoy clay modelling and oil painting.

Mi nombre es Helena y soy ilustradora y dibujante de cómics actualmente basada en los Países Bajos. Me gradué de Emile Cohl, una escuela francesa de artes visuales con un enfoque en dibujo y animación.
Trabajo en cómics y ilustraciones, principalmente usando técnicas digitales. Crear, escribir y finalmente traducir historias a imágenes es un proceso fascinante que me apasiona mucho.
Actualmente estoy trabajando en un webcomic de fantasía urbana, que en cierta medida es una adaptación y modernización del cuento ruso de Iván, el Pájaro de Fuego y el Lobo Gris.
The Red King: Ser joven, rico y guapo no siempre te trae felicidad. Pregúntale a Ivan, la oveja negra de su familia. Si no estuviera ocupado bebiendo, festejando y siendo un desastre real, podría estar construyendo una carrera en el vasto negocio de su padre. Como si la volátil dinámica familiar de Ivan no pudiera empeorar, accidentalmente ayuda a una entidad sobrenatural a robar un secreto que podría hundir todo el imperio corporativo de su padre.
Además de dibujar, también disfruto el modelado en arcilla y la pintura al óleo.
